Terms of Service

By adding the Civita Discord bot ("Civita") to your server or using it, you agree to these terms. Civita is developed and operated by the Civita team.

1. The service

Civita is provided free of charge and "as is". We may change, improve or remove features over time. We do not guarantee that Civita will run without interruptions or errors; it may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance or outages.

2. Discord's rules

When using Civita you must follow the Discord Terms of Service and the Discord Community Guidelines.

3. Prohibited use

• Trying to earn resources, points or rewards through bugs or automated tools (for example self-bots or spam)
• Trying to disrupt or overload Civita
• Using Civita to harass, disturb or deceive others

4. World ranking content rules

The names of servers that join the world ranking are shown in other servers. Therefore the name of a server in the ranking must not contain:

• Hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other characteristic
• Harassment, threats, glorification of violence or sexual content
• Illegal content, advertising or links

Servers that break these rules may be permanently removed from the world ranking at the Civita team's discretion.

5. In-game values

Marble, Olives, Coins, contribution points, titles, buildings and prestige only have meaning inside the game; they have no monetary value and cannot be sold or transferred for real money or anything of value. They may be corrected or reset in case of bugs or abuse.

6. Server admins' responsibility

Moderation tools, welcome messages and role settings are used and configured by server admins. The admins of each server are responsible for the actions taken with these tools and for the texts they write.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, Civita.

8. Termination

We may restrict or end Civita's service for servers or users that break these terms. You can remove Civita from your server at any time; see the Privacy Policy to have your data deleted.

9. Changes

If these terms change, the current version will be published on this page and the date above will be updated. Continuing to use Civita after changes means you accept the new terms.
